About Castle Saunderson International Scout Centre (9837)

Castle Saunderson International Scout Centre is a 34 acre campsite situated within 550 acres of Irish woodland. The centre is located on the border between Ireland & Northern Ireland. The construction of the centre was funded under the European Union's PEACE III fund. We are a dedicated peace centre with a mandate to provide a shared space where people from all communities throughout the island can come together in a safe environment.

The centre provides plenty of activities for scouts and is the ideal place for scouts to visit.

All Scouts that stay at the centre are encouraged to take up the Castle Saunderson Peace Award, which has three strands. Service to Site, Peace Training & Signing up as a Meesenger of Peace and completing a project in your community.
