Enigma Machine

The enigma machine was an amazing feat of engineering for coding and ciphers. It had over 2,000 different settings and if you wanted to write a letter to another person without them knowing, then you would set a letter on one of the wheels and then write your secret message, and the machine would do it for you. In a later on message, so that the recipiant could de code it, you would send a letter saying something like 'Letter a wheel II'
