Continuing their four-nation visit in the Asia-Pacific Region, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) team visited Bhutan on 15th March 2010 and met with the President of the Scout Council and Minister of Education and Sports Lynpo Thakur S Powdyel.

“Preparing for the CNV has been a rare opportunity to synchronize our reports. We took a closer look at every department of the organization as part of an integrated whole”, said Hong Seung-Soo, Secretary General of KSA. Dr Young Joong Kang, President of KSA welcomed the Committee NSO Visit (CNV) team and encouraged a high level of sharing and transparency for CNV Korea which was held from 11th to 13th March.

It was a historic occasion for the newly-built Rajasthan State Scout Training Centre in Jagatpura, where the 4th Asia-Pacific Region Advanced Management Course (AMC) was held from 3rd to 9th March 2010. The Scout building, situated at the outskirts of Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, blends well with the city with its pink palace-like façade. This is the second time India is hosting the advanced course after it first hosted the course in 1995 in Bangalore.
