The World Organization of the Scout Movement/Asia-Pacific Region in collaboration with Scouts of China is organizing the APR Workshop on Environment Education in Scouting on 3-6 June 2013. The workshop will be held in Taiwan that is well known for its environmental conservation efforts.
The 30th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree (30APRSJ), which also held as the 16th Nippon Jamboree (16NJ), will be held in 2013 in Kirara-hama, Yamaguchi, Japan. The 30th APRSJ/16NJ will be a great opportunity for the Scouts from the world to learn about Japan and moreover feel the unity of the scout movement by sharing the experience with Scouts from many different countries.
The workshop will gather National Training Commissioners and Training Committee members to share, review, update and standardize their training schemes in relation to the World Adults in Scouting policy.
The Air-Internet Jamboree is an event which Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared. It’s a great and unique opportunity for Scouts of all age ranges to communicate with each other as if they are nearby when in actual fact they are all in their own countries. Indeed, Radio Scouting eliminates the distances and fosters a closer relationship of the worldwide Scouting movement. Furthermore, National Scout Organization are requested to appoint a Coordinator for this APR Air/Internet Jamboree, preferably the person-in-charge of information communication technology, who will be the focal contact person of the Jamboree organizers and the WSB-APR office.
To reinforce the WOSM brand and share best practices of effective image management in National Scout Organizations, Cambodia Scouts will host the APR Workshop on Branding and Image Management, in collaboration with the APR Scouting Profile Sub-Committee and the World Scout Bureau/APR office.
