Licensing Arrangements in relation to WOSM's Brands and Trademarks
<embed href='ezobject://28567' /> In 2007, the present World Scouting Brand was launched. After five years, it was felt appropriate to review the guidelines and procedures relating to its use and licensing. We looked at what might be done to promote increased legitimate use of our brands by member organizations, whilst continuing to uphold the relevant resolutions of the World Scout Conference and decisions of the World Scout Committee. We also considered how to simplify licensing arrangements as they are applied to all designs used to promote WOSM's activities and programmes with the goal of removing any perceived barriers to their non-commercial use by our member organizations. This circular presents the results of the review and explains the new licensing arrangements.
