The next World Scout net is on: 6 March 2010 at 22:00 hrs GMT.

Special Scout station PA100BP will be on the air 6 and 7 March 2010. It counts as 5 points for the 100 year of Scouting Nederland award.

The 52nd World JOTA Report is now available for download in the on-line radio-scouting library.

Unfortunately there is a large amateur-radio competition in Germany during the JOTA weekend, called the WAG contest. However, we are pleased that the contest organisers have again arranged for frequencies that are kept free of contest traffic, so we can have a JOTA without interference. The following frequencies are the contest-free zone:
80m: CW: 3560 - 3800 kHz, SSB: 3650 – 3700 kHz
40m: SSB: 7080 – 7140 kHz
20m: CW: 14060 - 14350 kHz, SSB: 14100 – 14125 kHz and 14280 – 14350 kHz
15m: SSB: 21350 – 21450 kHz
10m: SSB: 28225 – 28400 kHz
This means that all World Scout Frequencies are in the clear.
Should you encounter contest stations on the above frequencies, please advise them of the contest-free zone. These are also mentioned on the web site of the contest organisers.

Of course, you can always order them later or after the JOTA weekend too.

Also available for you in the shop is the offical Radio-Scouting / JOTA badge.

And the Radio Scouting / JOTA badge on a pin or a car badge.
