Lithuanian Scouting – the most improved youth organization in Lithuania
September 21st. was very important for all Lithuanian youth organizations. This was the day that the Youth Council celebrated its 15th birthday with a conference and festival.
The Prime Minister, Gediminas Kirkilas and Speaker of the Seimas, Viktoras Muntianas, were the guests of honor and the Ministers of Education, Social Security & Labour and National Defense took part in discussions with the youth leaders.
During the festival, many organizations were nominated for awards and Lithuanian Scouting was nominated as the most improved youth organization in the last fifteen years.
The award was taken accepted by Lithuanian Scouting’s Chief Executive; Zivile Kubiliene who was pleased that Lithuanian Scouting is recognized in this way, for its highly valuated in organizational development and youth policies supportareas.
