Scouting Around the World

There are more than 28 million Scouts, youth and adults, boys and girls, in 217 countries and territories.

National organizations: There are 156 countries with internationally recognized National Scout Organizations.

Scouting elsewhere: There are 26 main territories where Scouting exists, often as overseas branches of member Scout Organizations.

There are 35 countries where Scouting exists (be it embryonic or widespread) but where there is no National Scout Organization which is a member of WOSM.

There are 6 countries without Scouting.
