MAJOR EVENTS
29 December 2009 - 3 January 2010 The 26th APR Scout Jamboree will be held at the Makiling National Scout Reservation Camp, in Mt. Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines to be hosted by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP). Mount Makiling is located in the province of Laguna on the island of Luzon, Philippines. The last 25th APR Scout Jamboree, held in Sattahip, Thailand, from 28 December 2005 to 3 January 2006, has gathered over 10,000 Scouts from 36 countries. |
PAST EVENTS
The 22nd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference was held from 18th to 23rd October 2007, in Tokyo, Japan. With 589 people attended, this regional conference sets the highest record of participation in the history of the Asia-Pacific Region as far as conference participation is concerned. 
To highlight the Golden Anniversary of Scouting in the Asia-Pacific Region, 15 key projects were designed and created, one of these was the Peace Baton Relay which is created to raise public awareness on the importance of peace in the lives and future of today's young people. |
