Members of the World Baden-Powell Fellowship met in Seoul, Korea 3-6 April 2008. Their Majesties the King and Queen of Sweden participated in the event. He is Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation.
An estimated 10 million Scouts have participated in peace activities in 110 countries following a programme which was started by Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah and co-sponsored by Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf. It has been the largest and most successful programme ever undertaken by Scouts worldwide.
Following upon the success of the royal table cloth and the royal place mats, the World Scout Foundation is offering sets of 10 royal napkins.
On 15 January 2008 Baden-Powell Fellows from the UK Chapter met at Baden-Powell House in London to celebrate the centenary of the publication of "Scouting for Boys" on 15 January 1908. The present Lord Baden-Powell signed copies of his grandfather's book. The book remains a best seller and has been translated into 87 languages.
19 October 2007: The Board of the World Scout Foundation regrets to announce the passing away today of its former Chairman, and long-time member, Sven Erik Ragnar of Sweden.
Austria: The 56th Baden-Powell Fellowship gala dinner will be held in Vienna on 18 September 2008.
Sweden: A Baden-Powell Fellowship event will take place at the site of the 2011 World Scout Jamboree on 27-30 August 2009.
Some 250 Baden-Powell Fellows and guests attended a formal dinner at which the Emperor and Empress of Japan, and the King of Sweden were royal guests of honour. The event was held 4-5 October 2007.
On the last day of the first century of Scouting, join 40,000 scouts from 150 countries in the world for the Centenary Jamboree.
Led by His Majesty the King of Sweden, some 250 Baden-Powell Fellows and friends celebrated the Centenary of Scouting with three days of events in the United Kingdom, at the end of July, early August.

In Celebration of His Majesty’s 60th Birthday, coinciding with the centenary Celebrations, two beautiful gifts have been designed by Her Majesty, Queen Silvia of Sweden – and are sold to raise funds for Scouting round the world.
In April 2007 Baden-Powell Fellows gathered in Cape Town, South Africa for the 53rd Fellowhip event, in the presence of His Majesty the King of Sweden, Honorary President of the World Scout Foundation. The event was unique because of the local Scouts.
