In the city of Santa Ana, El Salvador, the Catholic Diocese organised a walk for peace, whereby all city parishes, institutions and associations marched through the city, asking for peace for their country and their city; Together, they sang and danced and walked in prayer.
The crowd and the Scout Group San Jorge # 143 of the City of Santa Ana were invited to participate in the said walk and as Messengers of Peace they answered the call, carrying banners, and to make themselves more visible, they used white scarves, a symbol of their faith and petition for peace. Moreover, they wore bracelets, also symbolic of the Messengers of Peace. They walked together under one motto "We are Scouts, we are Messengers of Peace".
Therefore, the Cub Scouts completed their good deed and the Group served the community, reaffirming their commitment "We are Scouts and Messengers of Peace".
