NILLUMBIK WHITTLESEA DISTRICT ANNUAL WINTER APPEAL & ONGOING EFFORT June 2013 to September 2013

13th Aug 2013

One of our primary fundamentals as Scouts is to "HELP OTHER PEOPLE" and the notion of a GOOD TURN.

With that in mind the District is promoting a project which we intend to make an annual event,

NILLUMBIK WHITTLESEA DISTRICT WINTER APPEAL.

This is a  collection for those in our community doing it "a bit tough" and we as Scouts in making Our Promise,
need to do what we can to "Help Others".

We may not all understand the pain a mother might feel when her family ask "What's for dinner?" and she has no answer, but we can offer something that in a small way might help.

In doing this small thing we come to see that we can make a difference and that acts of care and compassion make us not only better Scouts but better People too.
