Blind Scouts Held Movie Screening and Discussion on Prabuhi Movie Talk

31st May 2013

Each Prabuhis Team are encouraged to keep their members in a fun and enriching activity beside reading volunteering.
These Scouts are blind or low vision students in a school for specials called PSBN Wiyata Guna, Bandung. Usually they were the "target" of being read by other volunteer. But this group is so extra ordinary; they want to also being volunteers.
Not only that, when they know that other Prabuhi's team are having this monthly activity called Prabuhi Movie Talk, they want to do the same.
So, on Friday afternoon, they pick a movie; "Negri 5 Menara" and ask their Scout Masters to put it in a big screen and loud sound system, because this event is held for about 70 scouts altogather.
Of course mostly they just listen to the voices and sound effects, while few of them who had low vision are encouraged to sit closer to the screen.
Amazingly, after 2 hours of "watching movie" these scout are discussing the content, the story and even the lead actors and actrees.
Their way of "watching" this movie is certainly different, but how they come up with ideas and opinions is very overwhelming.
This special Prabuhis Team is absolutely inspiring!
God bless their beautiful souls.
