Generation to Generation: Bringing cheer to retirement community

7. déc 2012

Pack 38 partnered with the Allegro Retirement Community to bring Christmas Cheer to their residents.  Our first day was in preparing for our visit.  We made cards for all 140 of the residents of the home and decorations for the building. Saturday morning, we headed over to the home and started decorating.  We met many of the residents and sang carols.  We had over 30 scouts help make decorations and cards. On Saturday, we had 15 scouts, 4 siblings, 1 boys scout (Den Chief for the Blue Phoenix) and 13 adults come out and participate.

Hopefully, this can be a new tradition for our pack.
