Muhd Zikri I am quite new to here but very old in scouting, I want to answer your first question of if projects are only for adults? In truth, children (cub scouts) and youths are better utilised in project execution than even adults as you are may be thinking. Youths are more resourceful in projects because it brings out their undiscovered talent which is the prime objective of Scouting to train little ones to become useful and meaningful to themselves and the society. So projects are not restricted to adults alone.

Thank you my dear friend. I just hope Peace can be restored in the world we live in now.

Hi Scouts! Thank you for this question! In Scouting, we are over 1 million local Scout Groups! Thus, Scouts at the local level are the ones who are closest to seeing the needs and opportunities in their local neighborhoods to do service projects that will make the world a better place! In Messengers of Peace we try to provide resources, tools and examples for Scouts to help create a better world where they live. And, NSOs can also apply for funding to help improve the quality of Scouting they deliver across their country.

For the Messenger of Peace (MoP) Ring Badge and Scarf - these are available via the online Scoutshop (run out of the UK). Each NSO sets the terms for obtaining the MoP Ring Badge - which is usually that you are registered on this MoP Platform and you have run - and uploaded - your local service project on this MoP Platform.

Hi Muhd. Thanks for your interest in creating more projects. Any person in Scouting can create a project. From Cubs to Leaders, each of them from their own level and using their own skills. We recomend any service action is related to the personal progression or development of the kid, youth or adult leader. All of them can receive the badge as MOP ring badge is to recognise their attitude of service. I think it should be a mission for every adult to look for ways to empower and encourage the youth to start, plan, keep doing, find, innovate and DO Messengers of Peace projects by themselves, for themselves and with themselves! In a perfect World the adults would be the mere supporters of such youth action :)

Scouting is about learning by doing. So Scouts can do it!

why shouldn't a child be allwod to do projects to? I think with all the creativity a child has, there would be a big waste if childs weren't allowd to do projects.
