Since more than 5 months the city of Antananarivo was under a serious problem of insalubrious with waste everywhere. The Scout Association of Madagascar took the initiative to clean up the city not only for the urgent need, but also to eradicate the pest propagation. Around 300 Scouts sensitize more than 6 500 Persons to help them to clean up the city, and to educate them to maintain the city clean. More than 18 Tonnes of waste was collected during this day. The Ambassador of South Africa and a Scout from Texas came to visit and was really amazed about the Scout initiative. - We are proud to be a Messengers of Peace - Sanda Rasoamaheina - International Commissioner -

Hi, Iam writing as a cub scout leader from Pembrokeshire, in West Wales, UK. As part of the Global Challenge the cubs decided that they would like to learn more about, and possibly make ties with a scout group in Madagascar. Is this something you would be able to help us with? Or maybe point us in the right direction?
My email is dalem279@gmail.com and help or advice would be very much appreciated
Regards
