The volunteer of Scouting Netherlands saves society annually around 160 million euro . This is due to the efforts of the 25,000 volunteers of Scouting and its positive effects on health and education among the 87,000 members of Scouting Netherlands .
Mr. Kim Putters , director of the Social and Cultural Planning Office congratulates Scouting with the findings of the report . He emphasized the important role Scouting can play in the Netherlands: "Responsibility , self-reliance , that you learn to leave a little better at Scouting. World Scouting proves that for a long time in practice , but it can now also show up on paper. . . "
