Today around the world 40 million Scouts, we join the scouts pain suffered by our brothers in the Africa Region and the Scouts Association of South Africa, for the pain they feel today after the death of one of the great leaders of the African continent.

Nelson Mandela will always be remembered for his struggle for the respect of human rights and alrededo peace, why Madiba as he is known by its people will always be remembered for having become a symbol of the struggle against apartheid within and outside the country, a legendary figure who represented the lack of freedom of all South Africans black men.
