Open House

After several months of preparation took place the "Open House" of the World Scout Bureau - Interamerican Region in City of Knowledge, Panama.

This event, sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America, was held to receive, in the 172 House, headquarters of the World Scout Bureau - Interamerican Region, neighbors and special guests, in order to inform them about the activities of the Interamerican Scout Office in Panama and interact with their staff.
People from other NGOs and UN agencies, which have their offices in the City of Knowledge, attended the event as well as members of the diplomatic corps of various embassies in the Americas and national leaders of the National Association of Scouts of Panama, who enjoyed a pleasant evening, eating delicious Panamanian food.
The event was attended by the next Secretary General of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, Mr. Scott Teare, who will begin his duties on January 2013. Also Mr. Kent Clayburn, Vice Interamerican Scout Committee Rafe Lucado, member, attended to the event.
