Kaurna Cub Pack - Flagstaff Hill Scout Group and Clean Up Australia Day

12th Nov 2013

Over term one and term two the Kaurna Cub Pack at Flagstaff Hill Scout Group participated in activities which counted towards their World Scout Environment Badge. On a weekend sleepover at the Blackwood Scout Hall the Cub Scouts picked up rubbish around the Blackwood Train Station. Whilst the area directly around the Station was reasonably tidy, as you ventured a little further away there was rubbish everywhere. Everything from cigarette butts, plastic bags, wrappers and old newspapers! The Cub Scouts did an excellent job at leaving no piece of rubbish behind!

The activity exemplified the Kaurna Cub Packs commitment to care for the environment and to do their best!
