Feature film about Scouting in Luxembourg

1st Jan 2007

« Emmer bereet », eng Geschicht vun Guiden a Scouten', a feature-length documentary about Scouting in Luxembourg, has been produced by the country's National Audiovisual Centre and is now playing in cinemas in accross the nation.

The film, who's title translates to 'Always Prepared', skilfully takes the audience along the path to rediscovering the history of one of the most important youth movements in Luxembourg. Using well researched interviews and archive footage, 'Emmer bereet' retraces the most important stages of Scouting and juxtaposes them with the story of a group of Scouts in 2006.

Its timely release, for Scouting's Centenary, means that the Scouts of Luxembourg have a wonderful way to not only celebrate their past, but look positively into the future.
