Luxembourg will be celebrating twice in 2007. Not only has Luxembourg-City, along with the Greater Region Saar-Lor-Lux-Rhineland-Palatinate-Wallonia/GSCB, been chosen as European Capital of Culture for 2007, but the Representation of the Luxembourg Scouting and Guiding Associations and Federations will also take part in the worldwide celebrations of 100 years of Scouting through 'Mocca- model Centenary Camp'.
Mocca is an international Camp for young people between 11 and 17 years. The camp will be held from the 20th of July to the 12th of August 2007 and its capacity will be around 100 people at one time, who will be offered an interesting program composed of creative workshops, visits, games, etc...
The maximum time at the camp will be 100 hours, meaning that the program will cycle so that participants can enter at any moment.
It will be held in the centre of the city of Luxembourg, at a location called 'Péitrussdall'.
A camp for 100 Guides and Scouts from 11 to 17 years
The open camp place for 100 Guides and Scouts is situated in the heart of Luxembourg-City between century old fortifications and modern tower buildings. While a program with a wide range of activities will be organised, there will be plenty of opportunities for those wishing to create partly their own program.
