Discover the world of the 56th JOTA and the 17th JOTI

Every year, Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) and Jamboree-on-the-Internet (JOTI) provide the opportunity for millions of Scouts around the world to meet on the air via amateur radio or on the Internet through web chat and social media.

The JOTA and JOTI are worldwide events which bring together more than 500,000 Scouts and Guides each year. Scout units can choose to take part in either event but are warmly encouraged, where possible, to give both a try.

Are you ready for the 56th year of JOTA and the 17th year of JOTI?

When is it?

Officially, JOTA-JOTI runs from Saturday 19 October 2013 to Sunday 20 October 2013.

During this weekend, units normally participate for 48 hours or any part thereof, from Saturday 19 October 00:00 hours local time until Sunday 20 October 24:00 hours local time.

However, because JOTA-JOTI is a worldwide event, different times zones mean that you can already see and hear JOTA stations, and you can participate on the new JOTA-JOTI website from Friday 18 October at 12:00 GMT until Monday 21 October at 12:00 GMT.
