Interview with Salome, Rover Scout and school leader
What did the project bring to you on a personal level?
At a personal level, as I am living in Georgia, it is obvious from everything we have been through as a country, that peace is the most important thing. But before I was just thinking about it, and now I am doing activities for ensuring there is peace, so I am able to contribute to it.
How do you think the Messengers of Peace project, Scouts Promoting Non-Violence among the Youth, has made an impact on your school?
This project is a great way to make peace around you, find new friends, and make your enemy as your friend.
What did the project bring to you on a personal level and as a Scout?
At a personal level, because I am living in Georgia, it is obvious from everything we have been through as a country, that peace is the most important thing. But before I was just thinking about it, and now I am doing activities for ensuring there is peace, so I am able to contribute to it.
As a Scout: Scouting is my life, and it includes peace and friendship at its core. From this project I have a big experience in creating peace activities and implementing them, and give the reason for people to think about peace not only in my country but to inspire others through MoP. So I started peace building from my Scout group.
In your words, what can you tell us about the Messengers of Peace?
Just do it, it is such a great initiative.
