Scout activities at Robert Schuman European School

In June, two Scout groups visited the Robert Schuman European School of Tbilisi to organise Scout activities for the students with the purpose of promoting the Scout Method and to involve more children and young people in the Scout Movement of Georgia.

Scouts had the opportunity to show what Scouting is all about and this created a real interest amongst the participants about Scouting.

“I didn’t know what Scouting was before, and I now will do my best to join this great Movement. Scouts have shown us how independent and confident we can be when involved in Scouting. I’ve admired stories of our fellows about their patrol lives, Scout activities, camp life and other adventures”, said Elene Kakabadze, European School student.

Barbara Davituliani another student of the European School said, “Scout games and activities were funny and entertaining. I have learnt lots of new, useful things. Now I know how to put up a tent and I am looking forward to the Scout camp to experience more outdoor life. Peace and friendship are in Scouting, I am sure about it”.
