Subregional Meeting of the Youth Program Network - Andean 2012
The Scout Association of Venezuela hosted the Second Meeting of the Andean subregion of the Youth Program Network. From 27 to 29 of february, 2012, representatives of National Scout Organizations from Colombia, Ecuador and the host Venezuela, worked with the Youth Programme Director of the World Scout Bureau - Interamerican Region in the analysis of topics of vital importance for the development of the Youth Program of the Region.
The topics covered were: Synergy between Youth and Adults in Scouting Programs, analyzing the state of implementation of the Youth Programme in the NSOs; review of indicators assessing the level of implementation of the Youth Programme; feedback for the construction of the Regional Policy of the Youth Programme; definition of parameters to evaluate the level of implementation of the Youth Programme in Scouting groups; analysis and feedback of the criteria for assessing the degree of self-sufficiency of youth program teams in the NSOs as well as identifying the needs for assistance in Youth Programme in each NSO. As part of the meeting, the Messengers of Peace project was presented.
