Material & Financial Resources
Partnerships: Material & Financial Resources
September 2006
INTRODUCTION
The success of a partnership depends partly on the ability of both parties to secure the necessary material and financial resources. However the financial dimension should not be the only motivation for the partnership. Partnerships should enable associations to gain access to different kinds of funding in order to guarantee their autonomy by generating their own funds, which will multiply their possibilities for action.
RESOURCES
The Europe Region WAGGGS regularly provides advice on fundraising and information on the latest funding possibilities to its Member Organizations. There are two sets of resources:

The Scout Association produces supports for its members to seek funds from a variety of sources through a series of factsheets. These provide useful general information on how to fundraise.
