The Constitution of the World Organization of the Scout Movement

Accredited representatives of National Scout Associations, which had adopted and practised principles of the the Scout Movement founded by Robert Baden-Powell in 1907, assembled in Paris, France, in July 1922 and established the International Scout Conference for the coordination of the Scout Movement throughout the world, together with an Executive Committee and a Secretariat.

The present Constitution governs the operation of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in a spirit of world cooperation, friendship and brotherhood.

The Constitution of the WOSM - European Scout Region

The European Scout Region was only established in the 1970s. The diversity of the European continent and the relaxation of world standards in training resulted in a reason to try to provide a focus for European activity and an opportunity for regional dialogue such as that already enjoyed by other regions. Amendments have been made since the first adoption. The current version incorporates all changes.

The European Scout Regional Plan 2004-07

At the previous European Scout Conference in July 2001, in Prague, delegates
adopted the 2001-2007 Regional Scout Plan. The growth and development of Scouting in Europe was highlighted as – and still is a major challenge in terms of all of the Region’s future projects and action.

Triennial Report - WOSM, European Region 1998/02

At the 36th World Scout Conference in Thessaloniki, in July 2002, the Region presented a report on its strategy from 1998 to 2002, and an intermediary report of action undertaken in the Region between the European Scout Conference in Prague (July 2001) and the World Scout Conference in Thessaloniki.
This report presents everything that has been undertaken in order to achieve the objectives set in the Regional Scout Plan adopted in Prague.
