National meeting to form the Training Team of the Scout Association of El Salvador.
During the weekend of May 12 and 13 the National Meeting to establish the Training Team of the Scout Association of El Salvador in San Salvador was developed . The event, devolped for the reformulation of its National Policy on Adults in Scouting was accompanied by the WSO-IAR and the participation of 34 adults, the first of several to be made in that strategic area.
During the two days the participants met and discussed issues about the the World and Regional Adults in Scouting policies. They make a particular emphasis on the management system oriented to the context of the Circle of Adult Life in the Movement, the importance of Personal Advisor and Personal Training Plan and the real meaning of courses and modules, from a targeted approach to teaching competencies in organizations such as the Scout Movement.
"It highlights the openness of the call: This meeting comes together with 'Three and Four beads' Wood Badges, adults who are in the process of obtaining the Wood Badge, and even adults who haven't started yet any formal training process with the Scout Association. It's a very interesting exercise that recognizes the pre-knowledge of adults within the management system and invites people to make a reflection about existing paradigm in many of our national organizations on the exclusivity of the 'Three and Four beads' to train other people, Ralf Dillmann, Director of the WSB-IAR for Adults in Scouting noted.
