Que vous apporte votre volontariat dans le Scoutisme?
I learned new skills and make new friends. Scouting has given me fantastic experiences, enormous personal satisfaction and the opportunity to work with a wide range of people.
Scouting has enabled me to travel and meet other people. I like going abroad with my Rover Scouts and helping young people to exchange ideas.
I feel great satisfaction in my role as a training commissioner. We started from small numbers and now we have 900 leaders in our country and I am very happy.
My involvement in Scouting helped me learn lots of new things and I feel more skilled and have much more confidence. This has helped me in my studies and professionally.
From an early age Scouting taught me to be punctual and helped me to develop self-discipline. I have developed my social skills through meeting people from different cultures and customs.
I have learned to run meetings, give presentations and I've had lots of fun.
I have had experience of working with children with social problems and learned how to work with people in conflict situations. I have experienced life in a different culture. Volunteering in Scouting helps me to see what's important in life.
Scouting has helped me to live out my Christian faith in an active way. I learned how to be a leader and take responsibility for educating young people. I also learned how to be a better employee.
Scouting has helped me to become self-reliant and understand that my future depends primarily on myself.
I contribute to our Scout magazine. This gives me satisfaction, enhances my knowledge and helps me to maintain good relationships with others.
