Youth Programme workshop for Venturers and Rovers in El Salvador.

1. Jan 2013

On June 9 and 10 El Salvador Scouts Association (ASES) conducted the workshop "Knowing the Youth Programme for Venturer and Rover Sections".

67 people, coming from the various regions of the country, highlighting the participation of 3 scouts brothers from the Guatemala Scout Association, attended the workshop. The workshop, coordinated by Mauricio Veayra, Youth Programme director of the World Scout Bureau - Interamerican Region (WSB-IR), provided a general overview on the basics of the Youth Programme, the application of the Scout method in these sections, as well as the structure and decision-making, symbolic framework, group life, personal progression and competences. The evaluation of the workshop was very positive, allowing continuing to strengthen the collaboration between the ASES and the WSB-IR.
