Subregional Meeting of the Network of Adults in Scouting of the Interamerican Region
It was developed in the framework of the Educational Methods Meeting of the Central Subregion.
Between the 13 and 15 of past April, met on the "Muxbal" field-school of Guatemala, 18 adults representatives of the Adults Management area of seven National Scout Organizations of the Central American Subregion. The working sessions, conducted in the framework of the Educational Methods subregional meeting, were animated by Raul Sanchez (Regional Director of the WSB-IR), Fernando Brodeschi and Rafe Lucado (Interamerican Scout Committee members) and Ralf Dillmann (Director of Adults in Scouting of the WSB-IR). During the sessions, were formulated collectively the principles, basic definitions and core competencies for the proposal of the Inter-American Policy "The Adults We Need" as well as the exchange of experiences in the Adult Captation. Similarly, the participants learned and were recorded in the Adult Virtual Network of the Interamerican Region, were motivated by the Initiative of Messengers of Peace and had the opportunity to discuss together with their counterparts in the area of Youth Programme in the importance of working together between these two areas.
