Training System Toolkit almost complete
The 3rd Working Session on Training Systems took place at the European Youth Centre, Budapest, over the weekend of 26-28 January 2007.
11 people from 8 National Scout Associations continued the work on developing a Training System Toolkit, in response to demand from many associations seeking support with this process.
When complete, the Training System Toolkit is intended for use by those responsible for review, renewal or design of the adult training system for their association. The Training System Toolkit will be available from the end of April 2007, although a sneak preview will be available to participants attending the 5th Forum on Youth Programme and Adult Resources at the beginning of March.
It will cover a broad range of topics and will provide a systematic approach to training system review, renewal and design. It will be broken into three clear sections; initiating the process, developing a framework proposal for a new training system and implementation; including testing and evaluating.
