Singapore President inaugurates Scout Chapter
On 31st October 2006, President S R Nathan inaugurated the Singapore’s elite group of Scouts who have achieved the highest Scouting rank.
President S R Nathan presented the official lapel pin to the 70 chapter members at his official residence. The President Scout Chapter is established as an arm of the Scout Guild of Singapore. Members of this Scout Chapter will automatically become members of Association of Top Achiever Scouts (ATAS) which was created during the 2004 Regional Scout Conference held in Brunei Darussalam.
Witnessing the high-profile event were Singapore Scout Association President Noel Hon and Chief Commissioner Nicholas Tang. Regional Chairman Eric Khoo represented the Asia Pacific Scout Committee.
