First APR Scout Foundation meeting this year held
First time this year, members of the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Foundation Management Committee met from from 23rd to 24th of February in Makati City, Philippines hosted by the Regional Chairman Jejomar C. Binay.
The meetings sets a goal of US$400,000 by 2009 before the next regional Scout conference in Malaysia. If successful, the Foundation’s total fund would go up by two million US dollars.
Since 1991, the foundation has financially assisted a wide variety of projects applied by different national Scout organizations in the region.
The meeting was headed by its new President Mr Eric Khoo.
