PAST EVENTS
The 22nd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference was held from 18th to 23rd October 2007, in Tokyo, Japan. With 589 people attended, this regional conference sets the highest record of participation in the history of the Asia-Pacific Region as far as conference participation is concerned.
To highlight the Golden Anniversary of Scouting in the Asia-Pacific Region, 15 key projects were designed and created, one of these was the Peace Baton Relay which is created to raise public awareness on the importance of peace in the lives and future of today's young people.
The 25th Asia-Pacific Region Scout Jamboree, held in Sattahip, Thailand, from 28 December 2005 to 3 January 2006, has gathered over 10,000 Scouts from 36 countries...a strong testament that Scouting never loses its appeal even in this age of technology revolution.
