Through co-operation between the Arab Scout Regional Office and the Jordanian Association for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, Dr. Atif Odaybat, Chairman of the Jordanian Supreme Council for Youth, on behalf of H.E. Princess Passma Bent Talal, Chairwoman of the Jordanian Association for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, Dr. Atif Abdelmageed, Arab Scout Regional Director, and Dr. Mozer Al Masry, Secretary General of the Jordanian Association for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, inaugurated the 10th Arab Scout Gathering for Executives of Health Awareness in the Arab Scout Organizations. The Gathering, which was organized from 3-10/5/2008 in Amman - Jordan, was attended by forty three participants representing ten Arab Scout Organizations namely; Jordan, Bahrain, Tunisia, Sudan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Palestine, Lebanon and Libya.

Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Aly Moselhy, Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity, H.E. Mrs. Randa Beri, wife of H.E. Mr. Nabeh Beri the Speaker of the Lebanese Assembly and Chairwoman of the Lebanese Society of Caring for the Handicapped, inaugurated the 5th Arab Gathering for Executives responsible for Programs for Young People of Special Needs.

Dr. Atif Abdelmageed, Arab Scout Regional Director and Dr. Amr Khaled Chairman of the board of trustees- Right Start Global Association signed a co-operation strategic Agreement in the field of non formal education for youth and community development in the Arab Region. The Agreement states that the cooperation between the two bodies should be built on the integration, understanding, transparency and mutual respect between both parties.

افتتح د/عاطف عبد المجيد - الأمين العام للمنظمة الكشفية العربية والمدير الإقليمى واللواء طيار/أحمد عبد اللطيف - رئيس اللجنة الكشفية العربية والأستاذ/سعد زيان - مدير تنمية القيادات بالمكتب الكشفى العالمى الندوة الكشفية لمسئولى تنمية القيادات وتنمية المراحل ، وذلك من أجل تأهيل شاغلى المهام الكشفية فى مجال البرامج وتنمية المراحل، وذلك خلال الفترة من 13-15 /4/2008 بالمركز الكشفى العربى الدولى بالقاهرة.

عائشة عبد الهادى تطالب بضرورة حشد الجهود لمواجهة الآثار السلبية على الطفل

أكدت عائشة عبد الهادى وزيرة القوى العاملة والهجرة أن قضية عمل الأطفال وأطفال الشوارع احتلت إهتماماً كبيراً بالغاً على المستوى الدولى والعربى بإعتبارها حق من حقوق الإنسان فى الإعلان العالمى لحقوق الإنسان وميثاق الأمم المتحدة وميثاق الإتحاد الأفريقى وإعلان منظمة العمل الدولية الخاص بالحقوق الأساسية فى العمل والاتفاقيات الدولية والعربية.

Under the patronage of H.E Mrs. / A'esha Abdel Hadi, Minister of Labour Force & Migration, the Arab Scout Regional Office will organize the 2nd International Seminar on Scouting and Child Labour & Street Children Phenomena for promoting the role of Scouting in improving living conditions of working children and their families and getting aware about the issue of Child Labour at local, national and international levels. In addition, the Seminar aims at analyzing the various forms of child labor and homeless children phenomena and realizing the outcomes of such analysis. This would enable us using the Scout Method for supporting these children and improving their hard conditions.

فى يوم حرصت الكشافة العربية على احياؤه سنويا وهو الثانى والعشرين من مارس (يوم الأخوة الكشفية العربية) ذكرى تأسيس جامعة الدول العربية عام 1945.

الاجتماع الثامن عشر للجنة العربية الفرعية للعلاقات والإعلام والاتصال

عقدت اللجنة اجتماعها يومى 22 ،23 مارس 2008 بالمركز الكشفى العربى الدولى بالقاهرة وتم انتخاب الدكتور/أحمد ثانى الدوسرى رئيساً للجنة لفترها القادمة حتى المؤتمر الكشفى العربى الـ26 والقائد /جميل فلاته نائبا للرئيس والقائد/ على الجرموزى مقرراً.

يسر المنظمة الكشفية العربية أن تعلن للشباب الكشفى العربى عن عملية سايكدونج التى خصصت لدعم الشباب المتميزين من الجمعيات فئة أ، ب، ج للمشاركة فى الندوة العالمية العاشرة للشباب فى الفترة من 1-10/7/2008،التى تنظم فى إطار تعاون بين جمعية الكشافة الكورية وجامعة Wonkwang والهيئات الرسمية بجزيرة (جيجو).
