The 25th Arab Scout Conference
Under the Patronage of H.E. Mr. Amr Mousa, Secretary General of the Arab League, the 25th Arab Scout Conference will be held under the slogan "Centenary and Future Vision" during the period 7-12/11/2007 in Cairo International Scout Center.
200 participants representing Chairmen of Arab Scout Associations and Senior Scout Executives in the Arab Associations will participate in the Conference. The Conference will also be attended by WOSM Secretary General, a number of WSB Directors and the Regional Directors of the Eurasian, African and European Scout Regions. This is in addition to the participation of the IUMS, Arab League, National Youth Council, WSPU, the Arab Union of Former Scouts and a number of WSC members.
The agenda of the Conference will include worksheets and documents on Centenary and Future Vision with a view to draft a new thought for the current stage and a modern vision for the future of the Arab Scout Movement.
The opening ceremony will be held on November 8th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the conference hall - Cairo International Scout Center. The Ceremony will include honoring media figures who support the Scout Movement and contribute to improving the image of scouting.
