SW Voluntary Service of Water Conservation Project in Taiwan

On Sunday 22 of October, in the playground of the Dong-Men Primary School of Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., was held “the 49th JOTA and 10th JOTI”.

Taipei Rover SW Base took this chance to set an exhibition of “Protecting the Water Resources” to promote the ideas of conserving water resources. There were three kinds of activities in our booth, including Q&A of water resources, water map of
Taiwan, and bamboo relay game.

These games not only let the children have a good time, but taught them a lot of useful knowledge about water conservation. This was what we call “learning by doing”. Although it was our first time to do the voluntary service, we did a good job. All of our rovers will keep designing new activities and carrying it out in the coming voluntary service opportunities.
