Scouts on parade in Macau
Chief Executive of Macau Dr Chui Sai On watched on as Scouts gathered at the Workers Stadium and do their annual parade on 9th October 2011. With him at the ceremony was Ms Xu Ting, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Culture and Education of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macau, who reviewed the Grand Howl of the Cub Scouts.
During the Scout parade, Chief Commissioner Mr Leong Sio Pui vowed to continue holding more Scouting activities where Scouts can enjoy and learn at the same time, shaping them to become responsible individuals in the future.
In his remarks, Mr Lou Pak Sang, Deputy Director of the Education Department of Macau, applauded Scouts for being the type of young people who have a self-discipline, team spirit and a commitment to serve the community at their own capacity.
Highlight of the Scout parade this year was the presentation of awards to more than 300 Scouts for their excellent performance last year.
