6,000 Scouts attend Malaysia Jamboree

Thousands of young people from all over Malaysia, Maldives, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore and Sri Lanka camped together at the 11th National Jamboree held in Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Malaysia from 12 to 19 December 2006.

The rain and mud did not keep the Scouts from the mountain expeditions, arch building competitions, cultures and arts, sports and traditional games. Special guests graced the Jamboree opening – the head of state of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Ja’afar, Asia Pacific Regional Chairman Eric Khoo and dignitaries from the state.
