APR Ticket to Life
TICKET TO LIFE is a flagship project currently being implemented by the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. This project integrates street children to society, through Scouting, in eight countries: Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka.
The World Organization of the Scout Movement is an international, non-governmental organization with head office in Geneva, Switzerland supported by six regional offices. Today, Scouting exists in 216 countries with over 28 million memberships in the world in 161 member Scout countries. The Asia-Pacific Regional Office is based in Manila, Philippines supporting over 16 million Scouts in 26 member countries with several Scouting potential countries in the region.
The Mission of Scouting is “to educate young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.”
