Position Concept
As part of the Education, Research and Development Department to provide support to the Task Team responsible for Environment Education, which is part of the Educational Methods Committee.
To support the management of information in the Education, Research and Development Department.
Principal Responsibilities

To support the Task Team on Environment Education
To support the Chairman of the Environment Education Task Team.
To contribute to the work on the Task Team and its areas of work, drafting documents and taking notes of meetings.
To facilitate communications within the Task Team through FirstClass and Skype.
To develop contents for web-pages on the WOSM web-site on environment education and sustainable development.
To liaise with other colleagues in the Central and Regional Offices involved in aspects of Environment Education and partnerships related to the environment. -
To manage environment education projects that are externally funded
To manage and deliver environment education projects in conjunction with the Environment Education Task Team.
To liaise with partners to support the educational content of these projects.
To monitor and evaluate the projects and produce reports for the funders. -
To support the management of information in the Education, Research and Development (ERD) Department
To assist with the overall planning of the work of the ERD department.
To set up systems for recording information on the Task Teams and projects in the department.
To provide administrative support to the Educational Methods Committee in relation to preparation of agenda papers and notes of their meetings.
