Peace & Diversity Training

4. Ago 2013

Castle Saunderson is an International Scout Centre situated on the border between Ireland & Northern Ireland. We are a peace centre and are creating a shared space where young people from all communities on the island of Ireland can come together in a safe environment. At the Phoenix Challenge this August we will launch specific scout training which will challenge our perceptions in relation to Human Rights & Discrimination.

Once we have delivered the training and reviewed it we will publish a tutorial of it, and hopefully others can use it too.

I created this little "project page" on the excellent new World Scouting website. Please take a look at it, "like" it if wish and contribute your own comments. I am keen to hear your thoughts and may use them in developing a session I am running at the 1st World Scout Education Congress. Please share your example on the project page in the comments section. I would be very interested to know how the training went and what others might learn from your experiences. http://www.scout.org/node/11018
