Ecologízate al 100:
During my time in high school, some friends and I created a youth group called Ecologízate al 100, which in English means "Ecologize Yourself One Hundred Percent".
The aim of the group is to help get young people to understand the ecological situation on our planet today, and to adopt a sustain able lifestyle.
The group was founded as a pathway for inner development, with an ideology of co-participation among young people.
We address themes such as climate change, biodiversity, environmental legislation, the Earth Charter, and many others.
The group focuses on environmental education, through such activities as conferences, forums, festivals, social action, and community projects.
Some of our projects have included reforestation, composting, and community recycling.
These activities have allowed young people to get in touch with our Earth, and to enjoy its wonders.
I think that words can help to raise people's conciousness, and this can later be turned into actions, because the best way to learn a lesson is to live it.
For us, all these activities were created with the idea that "if I change, then the world changes".
We have faith in young people, who represent the next generation of parents, teachers, and workers.
We want to help them to be firm in their convictions and aspirations, with a new way to see their present, and to value what has been given them.

It is time to educate, so that we may act.
