400 Inspired Non Scouts Reading Volunteering at once in Bandung as to Promote PRABUHI (Reading Volunteering Scouts)

In a Leadership Training Led by the well-known Indonesian author Ahmad Fuadi, and a famous young trainer Harri Firmansyah, in Bandung City, Indonesia, 400 participants performed Reading Volunteering Service at once for 1,5 hours as to promote the Act.
They were inspired by PRABUHI, to take part in community development Services, to share their readings and allowing others to have the same insights.
Program Director of PRABUHI; Atta Verin, told them the importance of sharing the reading in our own society to build awareness, and let the neighborhood gain better understanding.
These participants were selectively invited from local universities, publishing houses, football teams, activists and volunteers. They enthusiastically tried to perform reading volunteering to people around the venue. They read copies of encouraging story from "Chicken Soup for Soul" Book to Pedlars, Passer By, Becak Riders, Securities, street vendors, and shoppers.
After 1,5 hours they come with many results. Mostly felt the goodness of being accepted in a warm social interactions with strangers, as to being useful; the overwhelming feelings after sharing and harvest the enlightened responses from their beneficials, and the addictive sensations of volunteering.
More than 50% of the participants said they want to join PRABUHI as Reading Volunteers.
