Australia, July 11th 2006 - After a journey of over 18,000 km around Australia, a Peace Boomerang has completed its journey spreading the message of peace and unity in the lead up to Scouting's Centenary.
Celebrated on the 20th June, this year's World Refugee Day will focus on the theme "Hope", which was chosen to highlight the continuing efforts of UNHCR and its partners to find lasting solutions for millions of refugees and displaced people worldwide.

Some improvements were uploaded last week on scout.org. May 17, 2006 - Rhys Jones, a Network Scout from Hampshire today successfully reached the summit of Everest, the world highest mountain. In climbing Everest Rhys becomes the youngest ever person ever to climb all seven of the highest peaks on each of the worlds continents.
Since he was young, Jean-Michel Chalon, alias Jean-Mi, dreamed of adventures and travel. On May 7th, after cycling 9300km in 127 days, this 36 years old Scout won a bet which started between him and a friend from Scouts et Guides de France: to tour the Mediterranean ... by bicycle!
