Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Aly Moselhy, Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity, H.E. Mrs. Randa Beri, wife of H.E. Mr. Nabeh Beri the Speaker of the Lebanese Assembly and Chairwoman of the Lebanese Society of Caring for the Handicapped, inaugurated the 5th Arab Gathering for Executives responsible for Programs for Young People of Special Needs.

Dr. Atif Abdelmageed, Arab Scout Regional Director and Dr. Amr Khaled Chairman of the board of trustees- Right Start Global Association signed a co-operation strategic Agreement in the field of non formal education for youth and community development in the Arab Region. The Agreement states that the cooperation between the two bodies should be built on the integration, understanding, transparency and mutual respect between both parties.

افتتح د/عاطف عبد المجيد - الأمين العام للمنظمة الكشفية العربية والمدير الإقليمى واللواء طيار/أحمد عبد اللطيف - رئيس اللجنة الكشفية العربية والأستاذ/سعد زيان - مدير تنمية القيادات بالمكتب الكشفى العالمى الندوة الكشفية لمسئولى تنمية القيادات وتنمية المراحل ، وذلك من أجل تأهيل شاغلى المهام الكشفية فى مجال البرامج وتنمية المراحل، وذلك خلال الفترة من 13-15 /4/2008 بالمركز الكشفى العربى الدولى بالقاهرة.
