Success in Senegal - A triumphant partnership between Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses du Sénégal and Guides et Scouts du Luxembourg

Thanks to the partnership between the Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses du Sénégal and Guides et Scouts du Luxembourg, about a hundred Senegalese students have recently graduated in various fields. The ceremony took place in the compound of the Centre International de Formation Pratique (Cifop) in Mboro.

Graduands received diplomas in different disciplines, namely: mechanical engineering, wood work, construction, boiler making and hair design. This ceremony was marked by the presence of the local government authorities, renown religious and customary leaders and the representative of the Guides et Scouts du Luxembourg, Paul Scholtes, accompanied by his Senegalese counterpart, Nassardine Aïdara.

The representative of the Guides et Scouts du Luxembourg, Paul Scholtes, whose country also sponsored the new technical and vocational school of Thies, expressed his wish to see the transition from Cifop to Thies in order to ensure a high level vocational training.
