Part 4 - The vision for the future
When taking a strategic approach to developing volunteers in Scouting it is important to have a vision of the future. Your NSO/association may already have a vision statement. If so, does it specifically mention volunteering? The Strategy for Scouting has the following statement on volunteering:
‘We see Scouting as attractive to adults, women and men in all cultures – a Movement through which they can make a significant contribution to society by working with young people.’
